Contractor FAQs

Contractor pay is process every two weeks and is paid on a thursday. Please contact our administration team for a full list of this years dates.

Timesheets must be submitted by Monday 10 AM of the week of the pay cycle. For example, if the next pay cycle is on Thursday 14th December, your timesheets for the past fortnight must be submitted by Monday Noon on the 10th December

If you accidentally miss a timesheet for whatever reason, please email accounts@preactarecruitment.com and a member of our wonderful admin team will be able to help you.

If your timesheet is not approved in time you will not receive your payment. For this reason, please alert us (accounts@preactarecruitment.com) and/ or your supervisor if your timesheet has still not been approved on the Monday before payday.

First of all, congratulations! Once you have received confirmation of your extension from your supervisor, you must ensure that they alert Preacta of the extension. From here, we will send out a new contract (if there are any changes to the contractor if the extension is longer than 6 months unless requested). Once this is signed and confirmed, your astute will be updated to reflect these changes.

To change your bank account details, you need to log into your astute account. From here you go to the 'profile' tab and then click on the 'Bank accounts' tab down the left-hand side of the screen. Once you are in here, you can see your current bank account details, as well as edit them. Don't forget to click the 'Save and Complete' button at the bottom of the screen.

To change your super details, you need to log into your astute account. From here you go to the 'profile' tab and then click on the 'Tax and Super' tab down the left-hand side of the screen. Once you are in here, you can submit TFN declarations, as well as edit your super fund and see your current details. Don't forget to click the 'Save and Complete' button at the bottom of the screen.

To change your email account, used to send you timesheet reminders as well as payslips, you need to log into your astute account. From here you go to the 'profile' tab and then click on the 'Personal Details' tab down the left-hand side of the screen. Once you are in here, you can see all of your personal details. To edit your email address, simply change either the Primary of Payslip email address (depending on what you want it to change for) and then click the 'Save and Complete' button at the bottom of the screen.

To change your personal details, including name, email address, phone number or address, you need to log into your astute account. From here you go to the 'profile' tab and then click on the 'Personal Details' tab down the left-hand side of the screen. Once you are in here, you can see all of your personal details. To edit them, simply change any of the information and then click the 'Save and Complete' button at the bottom of the screen.
